Working at Land & Seascape Levels

Connected Conservation—working at landscape levels—is all about connections. We connect to neighbors. We connect to other federal agencies, such as the Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and the Fish and Wildlife Service. We connect with American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians. And we connect to state agencies and state parks, and non-governmental organizations. These relationships are critical to protect our unique heritage. After all, water, wildlife, and air don't stop at park boundaries. By working together, we can make real progress in protecting our special places.
